Brent has as an RTE a rugby analyst since 1993, and has at one stage or another appeared on most of Ireland’s top rated Television programmes including The Late Late show, the Saturday Night Show, Anonymous, After Dark, Ireland AM, The Afternoon Show, TV3, The Restaurant, No Frontiers, Euro star and Wagons Den as well as many children’s programmes such as Dustin, the Cafe and Elevate.



In addition he has had his own live talkback road show entitled “The Hook and Popey Road Show” as well as recently learning the clarinet for the international award winning music cal programme “Instrumental” Brent has also regularly appeared on major radio shows including The Marine Finauccane, Pat Kenny, Joe Duffy, Gerry Ryan, Dave Fanning, Ryan Turbidly, Miriam O Callaghan, Sean Moncrieff, Matt Cooper, George Hook, Ray Darcy shows and national television and radio in his native New Zealand.



Brent a regular print columnist for the Evening Herald, a former rugby journalist for the Evening Echo as well as many affitional sporting publications all over the world such as Rugby World, Emerald Rugby, and international match day programmes. Brent has a movie script “coming out to play” with parrell films.
